Turned up late, unannounced, receptionist couldn’t be more than friendly and helpful and lovely! Bar staff were great, even though we were there til late, great banter! Night porter just as friendly, as a smoker I can be a pain in the backside! They were more than accommodating! Got a wonderful breakfast the next morning cooked to order! A perfect poached egg too! Cannot fault the place at all, beautiful building, lovely staff, will definitely be returning on next trip! Thank you all!

I stayed in the Farnham Arms Hotel at the weekend 26th to 28th June along with three of my friends and anyone looking for a great place to stay in Cavan you couldn’t pick a better hotel. We got a fantastic deal for €100, which included 2 nights B&B and one evening meal. Breakfast was second to none and the evening meal was served in their Restaurant (not in the bar as you would expect with the price) it was a fabulous 3 course meal with the nicest mash and veg bowl that would feed an army as well as baby new potatoes cooked in a delicious gravy. They say that Cavan are famous for their Potatoes well they certainly lived up to their name. From the time we set foot into the hotel the staff couldn’t have be nicer, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and had been newly refurbished. The hotel had some great entertainment and the town itself was buzzing with plenty of night life for all ages. So 10 out of 10 for the Farnham Arms.

Hi Catherine

I wish to express my appreciation to you and the management for an excellent overnight in the hotel with the multi-national group I brought there on August 22.

All enjoyed the visit and appreciated the care and friendliness of the staff.

The meal served was excellent.

Should I organise another trip I will certainly keep you in mind.

Regards and thanks

Stopped in Cavan and tried this hotel for an evening meal. We had a delicious meal in
the bar. There was an extensive choice and the service was friendly and efficient.
The food was serviced fairly quickly and was well presented and very tasty. The Guinness
was also excellent.

“We booked 2 rooms at the Farnham in December 2012. We stayed for 2 nights & had a wonderful time in Cavan. The hotel was a fantastic location right in the centre of the town. ”

“I stayed here every week for over 6 months with work. A great friendly hotel in the heart of Cavan with some great food and entertainment – the highlight was having breakfast one morning beside the Donegal Rose”
